SMS Terms
1. What we send
If you switch on SMS alerts and verify a mobile number, we text you when a new paid stock-promotion disclosure is detected for an operator or newsletter you follow. Messages are automated.
Our texts name the operator and link to our site. They do not name tickers, and they are not stock tips, recommendations, or investment advice. See our Disclaimer.
2. Your consent
You opt in by ticking the SMS consent box on your alert settings, which is your electronic signature under the E-SIGN Act. Consent is not a condition of buying anything, and you can use PaidPromoTracker fully without it.
Giving us a phone number for login or verification is not consent to marketing texts; those are separate, and only the tick grants this one.
3. How to stop
Reply STOP to any message to cancel, or HELP for help. You can also switch the SMS channel off in your alert settings, or email [email protected]. We do not require any single method: a request through any reasonable channel works, and we act on it promptly and in no case later than ten business days.
4. When we may text you, quiet-hours waiver and Do-Not-Call consent
I am inviting these messages, so they are not telephone solicitations under the TCPA or 47 CFR 64.1200. To the fullest extent the law allows, I agree PaidPromoTracker (and anyone sending on its behalf) may text me at any hour, including before 8 AM or after 9 PM local time, and I waive any quiet-hours limit. If my number is on a federal or state Do-Not-Call list, I consent to these texts anyway and waive, as far as the law permits, any Do-Not-Call claim as to messages sent under this consent.
This applies only to messages we, or someone acting for us, send under these SMS Terms.
5. Frequency, rates and carriers
- Message frequency varies with how many operators you follow.
- Message and data rates may apply. Your carrier’s charges are yours.
- Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
- Supported carriers may change without notice, and delivery is not guaranteed.
6. Your number
Keep your number current. If you give up a number, tell us. Carriers recycle numbers, and we do not want to text whoever gets it next. We may stop messaging a number that appears reassigned, disconnected, or invalid.
7. Other terms
These SMS Terms sit alongside our Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and Disclaimer. If we change them materially we will bump the version and ask you to consent again before sending under the new version.
